Researching the Famine (Holodomor) of 1932-33

Hennadiy Ivanushchenko

A former director of the State Archive of Sumy Oblast (2005–10), he has worked in archives in Lon-
don and Cleveland, and is the chief editor of two internet-based projects: the Sumy historical portal

(www.history.sumynews.com) and the Archive of the Ukrainian Information Service in London
(www.ounuis.info). He has edited two collections of documents from the Sumy archive, and has au-
thored books on the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-20, the national liberation movement in Eastern
Ukraine, and the Great Famine (Holodomor) of 1932-33.
